Jesus is serving low income families during the Christmas season

Project Details

On December 15th, United Way will be having a one day volunteer opportunity to work with low income families and they have asked the City Church community to join them!

Come and be a part of the team that helps connect low-income individuals and families with food, healthcare and utility assistance programs!

The goal of the day is to help low-income families and individuals meet their basic needs by providing a training on public benefit referral training, which will begin at 9:00 am. At 10:00 am-12:00 pm they will be conducting an outreach at local food banks. Following the outreach, you will reconvene at United Way of King County for lunch and to share our experiences.

The ability to speak Mandarin, Spanish and Cantonese is particularly helpful.
(For this event, no prior public benefits outreach experience is necessary.)

Let’s make sure that everyone goes home with a little more to celebrate this year.
